Private Lessons

 Ages 9-17 yrs 

Vocal skill: Beginner

The 50-minute session is vocal only or a combination of both voice and instrument

The student provides: 

Instrument and case (instrument must approved by Lori)

Light guitar picks

2" binder with clear front overlay

Capo, tuner, and strap

ATTENDANCE

Attendance is mandatory except in the event of a pre-arranged absence or sickness.

ARRIVAL/PICK UP LOCATION

Students will be dropped off and picked up on the Northwest corner of the school. Please read about Early and Late Arrivals.

CANCELLATIONS

No make-up lessons

Please, if you have any concerns or questions contact me on my cell or email me. Heartsung Music is independent From JCSD or Christ Center, so all communication needs to come through me. Due to my class schedule, I will not be able to have conversations during my teaching hours. However, I am happy to make an appt with you by phone or in person.

ILLNESS

For the sake of other students and myself, please do not bring your child to class if they have a fever, runny nose, cough, or are contagious. Less than a 6-hour sick notice results in a no make-up lesson.

LATE TO CLASS

Out of respect to the instructor, a student who is 20 or more minutes late to class

will not receive a lesson. Students will be asked to stay in the classroom and read a book or study schoolwork. No make-up lessons for late students. Parents will be expected to pick up their children on time.

MAKE-UP LESSONS

Make-up lessons are only available when there is a pre-arranged absence or illness with at least a 6-hour notice. Make-up lessons must be done within 7 days of absence. Once a makeup lesson is scheduled there can be no changes.

NO SHOWS

A no-show student will not receive a make-up lesson. Consistent

no shows will result in the student losing their placement in the program.

REFUNDS

There are no refunds in the Heartsung Music program.

RULES IN CLASS

No cell phones or electronic use in class. Pictures/videos can only be taken in class with the permission of the instructor and/or other students.

SIBLING DISCOUNT 20% off siblings' monthly fee.

WEATHER

There are no make-up lessons or refunds due to inclement weather cancellations.
